On January 17, 2020, they released a new single, "What a Man Gotta Do", the lead single for their upcoming sixth studio album. Ten days later, they announced that a new album was coming and posted a link to social media for fans to buy the merchandise for "What a Man Gotta Do" and pre-order the album for when it arrives. It is unconfirmed what the title of the album is and its release date. The Jonas Brothers' joint memoir, Blood (co-written with Neil Strauss) will be released in October 2020.
After the Jonas Brothers announced their reunion in March 2019, the band released their fifth studio album, Happiness Begins, and released their documentary, Chasing Happiness, in June 2019 on Amazon Prime Video.
On February 28, 2019, nearly six years after the Jonas Brothers initial breakup, the brothers announced the band's reunion.
