Kim Clifford is an Australian alpine skier who was born on 16 October, 1956 in Thredbo, Thredbo, Australia. She is the daughter of a ski instructor and began skiing at the age of three. She competed in the World Cup circuit from 1975 to 1983, and was the first Australian woman to win a World Cup race in 1982. She also competed in the 1984 Winter Olympics in Sarajevo, Yugoslavia, where she finished in sixth place in the slalom event. Clifford is currently the head coach of the Australian Women's Ski Team and is a member of the International Ski Federation's Athletes Commission. She is also a member of the Australian Olympic Committee's Athletes Commission. Clifford is married to former Australian alpine skier, Peter Clifford, and they have two children. She is currently 68 years old.
