She has also appeared in several films, including The Big Valley, The Godfather Part II, and The Love Boat. Evans was born in Hartford, Connecticut, and began her career as a model. She made her television debut in 1965, appearing in an episode of The Big Valley. She went on to appear in numerous television series, including The Love Boat, Fantasy Island, and The Colbys. In 1981, Evans was cast as Krystle Carrington in the hit television series Dynasty. She remained with the show until its cancellation in 1989. She also appeared in the spin-off series The Colbys.
