In the 1980s, Bandy continued to appear in films, including The Verdict (1982), The Cotton Club (1984), and The Color of Money (1986). He also had a recurring role in the television series Miami Vice. Bandy's last film role was in the 1990 film The Bonfire of the Vanities.
