Lucien Monsi-Agboka was a Beninese politician and diplomat who served as the Prime Minister of Benin from 1972 to 1974. He was born in the village of Kpomassè, in the Zou Department of Benin. He attended the University of Paris, where he studied law and political science. Monsi-Agboka was a member of the National Assembly of Benin from 1959 to 1972. He was appointed Prime Minister of Benin in 1972, and served until 1974. He was also the Minister of Foreign Affairs from 1972 to 1974. Monsi-Agboka was a member of the African Union and the Organisation of African Unity. He was also a member of the United Nations General Assembly from 1972 to 1974. Monsi-Agboka died on 15 April, 2020 at the age of 97.
