Manasseh Daniel Jatau is a Nigerian politician who was born on 29 December 1955 in Kaduna State, Nigeria. He is a member of the People's Democratic Party (PDP). He was the Deputy Governor of Kaduna State from 1999 to 2007. He was also the Minister of State for Power and Steel from 2007 to 2008. Jatau holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Political Science from the University of Jos, Nigeria. He also holds a Master of Science degree in International Relations from the University of Lagos, Nigeria. Jatau has served in various capacities in the Nigerian government, including as a member of the House of Representatives from 1999 to 2003. He was also the Chairman of the House Committee on Power and Steel from 2003 to 2007. Jatau is married to Hajiya Hadiza Jatau and they have four children. He is an active member of the Nigerian Baptist Convention and the Nigerian Baptist Theological Seminary.
