Mark Huck was born in American on August 2, 1957. He is an American speed skater who has competed in the Olympics and World Championships. He is a two-time Olympian, having competed in the 1984 and 1988 Winter Olympics. He won a bronze medal in the 500m at the 1984 Olympics and a silver medal in the 1000m at the 1988 Olympics. He also won a bronze medal in the 500m at the 1985 World Championships. Huck is a four-time U.S. National Champion, having won the 500m in 1984, 1985, 1986, and 1988. He also won the 1000m in 1985 and 1986. Huck is currently the head coach of the U.S. National Speed Skating Team. He is also the founder and president of the Mark Huck Speed Skating Academy, which provides speed skating instruction to athletes of all ages. Huck is married to his wife, Mary, and they have two children. He currently resides in Colorado Springs, Colorado.
