Martha Schrader began her political career in 2004 when she was elected to the Clackamas County Board of Commissioners. She was re-elected in 2008 and served until 2009. In 2008, she was elected to the Oregon House of Representatives, representing District 20. She was re-elected in 2010, 2012, 2014, 2016, and 2018.
