He is a graduate of the University of the Punjab, Lahore. Ranjha has been a member of the National Assembly since 2008. He is a member of the Pakistan Muslim League (Nawaz) and is currently serving as the Minister of State for Parliamentary Affairs. He has also served as the Minister of State for Water and Power.
