Anderson has also appeared in numerous television shows, including The Avengers (1961-1969), The Saint (1962-1969), The Persuaders! (1971-1972), and The Professionals (1977-1981). He has also appeared in a number of stage productions, including The Sound of Music (1965) and The King and I (1966). In addition to his acting career, Anderson is also a successful producer and director. He has produced and directed a number of films, including The Martian Chronicles (1980) and The Martian Chronicles II (1981).
