He later attended the Berklee College of Music in Boston, where he studied jazz and composition. Convertino has composed music for over 50 films and television shows. He has won two Emmy Awards for his work on The West Wing and The X-Files. He has also been nominated for two Academy Awards for his work on The Rocketeer and The Prince of Egypt.
