Mohammed Ameur is a Moroccan politician who has served in various positions in the government of Morocco. He was born on December 31, 1952 in Debdou, Morocco. Ameur studied at the University of Rabat, where he earned a degree in law. He then went on to pursue a career in politics, serving as a member of the Moroccan Parliament from 1997 to 2002. He was also a member of the Moroccan government from 2002 to 2007, serving as Minister of Justice and Minister of the Interior. In 2007, Ameur was appointed as the Minister of Foreign Affairs and Cooperation, a position he held until 2011. During his tenure, he was responsible for the country's foreign policy and international relations. He also served as the President of the Moroccan-American Friendship Association from 2011 to 2013. Ameur is currently a member of the Advisory Council of the Moroccan-American Friendship Association. He is also a member of the Advisory Council of the Moroccan-American Friendship Foundation.
