Molly Bee was born to parents, William and Mary Beachboard, and grew up in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. She began singing at the age of three and was performing on local radio by the time she was five. She was discovered by country music star Spade Cooley, who signed her to his label, Spadeco Records. At the age of 12, Bee released her first single, "I Saw Mommy Kissing Santa Claus," which became a hit and sold over one million copies. She went on to record several other singles, including "Tennessee Saturday Night," "I'm Looking Over a Four Leaf Clover," and "I'm Gonna Tell Santa Claus on You." In the 1950s, Bee moved to Los Angeles and began appearing on television shows, including The Ed Sullivan Show, The Red Skelton Show, and The Jimmy Durante Show. She also appeared in several films, including The Gene Autry Show, The Adventures of Ozzie and Harriet, and The Bob Cummings Show. Bee continued to record and perform throughout the 1960s and 1970s, and in the 1980s, she released her first album, Molly Bee Sings Country. She has since released several other albums, including Molly Bee Sings Gospel and Molly Bee Sings Christmas. Molly Bee has an estimated net worth of $2 million.
