Nafees Din made his first-class debut for Surrey against Gloucestershire in 2001. He played a total of 11 first-class matches for Surrey, scoring a total of 545 runs at an average of 24.77. He also took 11 wickets at an average of 33.45. Nafees Din also played in the English County Championship for Surrey, and was part of the Surrey team that won the County Championship in 2002. Nafees Din retired from professional cricket in 2004, and is now a cricket coach. He is currently the head coach of the Surrey Second XI.
