In 2019, Shrestha starred in the movie Xira, which was her first action movie where she did all stunts on her own and even had to shaved her hair for the role. She wanted it to be a movement for youth to be a stronger and better version of themselves and it was empowering.
In 2018, Shrestha starred in the movie Prasad. she learned the “Paschimey” accent of the character Narayani.
In 2016, Shrestha starred in the movie Classic, again alongside Aryan Sigdel. Her role in this movie Classic, marked the apex of her still-growing silver-screen career, having secured each and every award in the best female actor category that year, including the National Award, which was personally bestowed upon her by the President of Nepal.
