Navin Nischol's sister Sushma Kumar had a son who passed away in 2015. He has a daughter named Gouri Kumar who is a upcoming model and works as a Retail Make Up Artiste at M.A.C. Cosmetics. She also has a brother named Rahul Kumar.

Dr Morrison earned degrees in philosophy (BA 2004 New York University) and politics (MA 1996; MPhil 1999; PhD 2004 Columbia University). He was published as a barrister at the English Bar (2012) following earned law degrees (GDL 2011 Oxford Brookes; BPTC 2012 City University London). He has worked in the US, UK, Turkey, the Maldives, the United Arab Emirates and Japan. Dr El Gamaiey earned her doctorate in Islamic Archaeology at Cairo University's Faculty of Archaeology (2009), where she is now Assistant Professor and teaches a variety of topics relating to Islamic architecture in Asia and the Middle East, aesthetics and art history. Her research specialism and the topic of her scholarly publications is cultural heritage and property in Islam. She has acted as consultant and visiting lecturer for interfaith youth training in Thailand, community organiser in Malaysia and writer for an NGO in Indonesia. The Print Designer for IDRAK is Nomita Morrison. She is based in London and Mumbai. Nomita is a free-lance designer and artist who specialises in illustration, design, painting and print-making. She earned a degree in Graphic Design from the Parsons School of Design (graduated 2003); 2005-2007 she attended the Columbia University Department of Visual Arts, also in New York City.

Shekhar Kapur wanted to launch Navin Nischal's daughter Nomita opposite Bobby Deol in the movie Champion. This was when Shekhar Kapur was working on Bobby Deol's launch film. Dharmendra rejected the idea as he did not like Nomita's pairing with Bobby Deol. Nomita wanted to join the film industry in those days (1991-1993).

Navin Nischol starred in producer, director Arun Sharma's (From Bhojpuri Films) Untitled Movie (1983). The film started when Sujit Kumar decided to help his friend Arun Sharma make a Hindi movie. Rakesh Roshan was first signed. He recommended Sarika be signed. The film was to be shot in London. Sarika was hesitant to sign but Madan Puri who was also signed , encouraged her to do the film. Sarika gave bulk dates for the film. Rakesh Roshan was then replaced by Navin Nischol . Finally Sarika flew out to London and no one was there to receive her. She also did not have a work permit ,London address,or any British currency. Finally Arun Sharma showed up and said he was caught in traffic. Nothing was organized . There was no lights, no camera , nothing. After a week of staying in apartment with barely any food, Sarika fell sick and was hospitalized. That is when she was replaced by Aarti Gupta. This was done without Sarika's knowledge. The film kept getting delayed and finally was shelved.
