Nelson Zeglio is a former Brazilian footballer who played for several clubs in Brazil and abroad. He was born on 21 November 1926 in São Paulo, Brazil. Zeglio began his career in 1945 with São Paulo FC, where he played for two years before moving to Portuguesa Santista. He then moved to Palmeiras in 1948, where he won the Campeonato Paulista in 1949. He then moved to Corinthians in 1950, where he won the Campeonato Paulista in 1951. In 1952, Zeglio moved to Italy to play for Genoa, where he won the Serie A title in 1953. He then moved to Sampdoria in 1955, where he won the Coppa Italia in 1956. He then moved to Catania in 1957, where he won the Serie B title in 1958. Zeglio returned to Brazil in 1959 to play for Santos, where he won the Campeonato Paulista in 1960. He then moved to Bangu in 1961, where he won the Campeonato Carioca in 1962. He then moved to Flamengo in 1963, where he won the Campeonato Carioca in 1964. Zeglio retired from football in 1965. He is now 97 years old and is still living in Brazil. He is considered one of the greatest Brazilian footballers of all time.
