Odd Lirhus is a Norwegian biathlete who was born on 18 September, 1956 in Voss Municipality, Norway. He is 64 years old. Lirhus is a two-time Olympic medalist, having won a silver medal in the 20 km individual event at the 1984 Winter Olympics in Sarajevo and a bronze medal in the 10 km sprint event at the 1988 Winter Olympics in Calgary. He also won two gold medals at the 1985 Biathlon World Championships in Ruhpolding, Germany. Lirhus is also a four-time World Cup champion, having won the overall title in 1984, 1985, 1986, and 1988. He also won the overall title at the 1985 Biathlon World Cup. Lirhus retired from biathlon in 1989 and is now a coach. He is currently the head coach of the Norwegian biathlon team.
