Oleh Kramarenko is a Ukrainian politician and former Prime Minister of Ukraine. He was born in Kharkiv, Ukraine, and graduated from the Kharkiv Institute of National Economy in 1979. He then went on to work in the Ministry of Economy of Ukraine, eventually becoming the Deputy Minister of Economy in 1991. In 1994, Kramarenko was appointed Prime Minister of Ukraine, a position he held until 1997. During his tenure, he was credited with stabilizing the Ukrainian economy and introducing market reforms. He also oversaw the privatization of state-owned enterprises and the liberalization of foreign trade. Kramarenko left politics in 1997 and returned to the private sector. He is currently the Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Ukrainian Investment Bank and the Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Ukrainian-American Investment Fund.
