Pat McNamara (speed skater) was an American speed skater who competed in the 1948 Winter Olympics. He was born on December 2, 1925 in Minneapolis, Hennepin County, Minnesota, United States. McNamara was a member of the United States Olympic speed skating team in 1948. He competed in the 500 m and 1500 m events, but did not medal. McNamara was a member of the Minneapolis Speed Skating Club and was coached by the legendary speed skater, Oscar Mathisen. He was also a member of the United States Speed Skating Hall of Fame. McNamara passed away on April 15, 2012 at the age of 86. He was survived by his wife, two sons, and four grandchildren.
