Paul Koek is a Dutch director and music producer. He is best known for his work on the Dutch television series "De Wereld Draait Door" and the Dutch version of "The Voice". He has also directed music videos for artists such as Anouk, Marco Borsato, and Ilse DeLange. Koek was born in 1954 in Roelofarendsveen, Zuid-Holland, Netherlands. He studied at the Royal Conservatory of The Hague and graduated in 1979. He then went on to work as a music producer and director for various Dutch television shows. Koek has been married to his wife, Marijke, since 1982. They have two children together. Koek has won numerous awards for his work, including the Dutch Music Award for Best Music Video in 2006 and the Dutch Music Award for Best Music Video in 2008. He has also been nominated for several other awards, including the Dutch Music Award for Best Music Video in 2009 and the Dutch Music Award for Best Music Video in 2010.
