Paul TenHaken is an American entrepreneur and politician who currently serves as the mayor of Sioux Falls, South Dakota. He was born on November 13, 1977 in Sioux Center, Iowa. He attended Northwestern College in Orange City, Iowa, where he earned a degree in business administration. TenHaken began his career in the private sector, working for a number of companies in the Sioux Falls area. In 2011, he founded Click Rain, a digital marketing agency. He served as the company's CEO until 2018, when he stepped down to focus on his political career. In 2018, TenHaken ran for mayor of Sioux Falls and won the election. He was sworn in as mayor in May of 2019. As mayor, TenHaken has focused on economic development, public safety, and infrastructure improvements. TenHaken is married to his wife, Lindsey, and they have two children. He is an active member of his church and enjoys spending time with his family.
