Risoli began his career as an actor in the early 1980s, appearing in films such as La Boum 2 (1982) and La Boum 3 (1984). He also appeared in television series such as Les Enfants du Marais (1984) and Les Enfants du Soleil (1985). In 1989, Risoli began hosting the French version of the game show Wheel of Fortune. He hosted the show until 2002. Risoli has also appeared in several other television series, including Les Cordier, juge et flic (1993-1995), Les Filles d'à côté (1996-1998), and Les Bleus: premiers pas dans la police (2005-2006).
