Pierre Bertin was a French actor and director who was active in the theater, film, and television from the 1930s to the 1970s. He was born on 24 October 1891 in Lille, France. Bertin began his career in the theater, appearing in plays by Molière, Racine, and Corneille. He made his film debut in 1932 in the film La Chanson de l'adieu. He went on to appear in over 100 films, including La Grande Illusion (1937), La Bête Humaine (1938), and Les Enfants du Paradis (1945). Bertin also directed several films, including La Vie de Bohème (1946) and La Belle et la Bête (1946). He also appeared in numerous television series, including Les Cinq Dernières Minutes (1958-1960) and Les Cinq Dernières Minutes (1960-1962). Bertin was married to actress Madeleine Renaud from 1934 until his death in 1972. He died on 28 April 1972 in Paris, France. His net worth is unknown.
