He appeared in numerous films and television shows throughout his career, including The Untouchables, The Twilight Zone, and The Man from U.N.C.L.E. He also directed several episodes of The Man from U.N.C.L.E. and The Wild Wild West. Cuffari was married to actress and singer, Joi Lansing, from 1959 until her death in 1972. He died on October 28, 1978, at the age of 53.
