Richard Lehoux is a Canadian politician who served as a Member of the National Assembly of Quebec for the riding of Châteauguay from 2003 to 2018. He was born on October 15, 1956 in Châteauguay, Quebec. Lehoux studied at the Université de Montréal and obtained a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science. He was a member of the Châteauguay City Council from 1986 to 2003. Lehoux was first elected to the National Assembly of Quebec in 2003 and was re-elected in 2007, 2008, 2012 and 2014. He served as the Minister of Transport from 2007 to 2008 and as the Minister of Municipal Affairs and Regions from 2008 to 2012. Lehoux is married and has two children. He is currently 67 years old.
