Rob Buck is an American musician best known as the lead guitarist and songwriter for the alternative rock band 10,000 Maniacs. He was born on August 1, 1958 in Jamestown, New York. He attended Jamestown High School and graduated in 1976. Buck began playing guitar at the age of 12 and was influenced by the music of the British Invasion. He joined 10,000 Maniacs in 1981 and wrote many of the band's songs, including "These Are Days" and "Trouble Me". He left the band in 2000 and released his first solo album, "Rob Buck", in 2002. Buck has also worked as a producer and session musician, and has collaborated with artists such as Natalie Merchant, John Mellencamp, and Mary Chapin Carpenter. He currently lives in Nashville, Tennessee, and continues to write and record music. As of 2021, Rob Buck's net worth is estimated to be roughly $2 million.
