Robert L. Kistler is a former American politician who served as a member of the Iowa House of Representatives from 1967 to 1973. He was born on March 4, 1925 in Osceola, Iowa. Kistler attended Iowa State University and graduated with a degree in agriculture in 1949. He then served in the United States Army from 1950 to 1952. After his military service, he returned to Osceola and worked as a farmer and rancher. Kistler was elected to the Iowa House of Representatives in 1966 and served until 1973. During his time in the legislature, he was a member of the Agriculture, Education, and Ways and Means committees. Kistler is a member of the American Legion, the Veterans of Foreign Wars, and the Iowa Cattlemen's Association. He is also a member of the Osceola United Methodist Church. As of 2021, Robert L. Kistler is 92 years old and has a net worth of $1 million.
