Robert M. Miller is an American businessman and philanthropist. He is the founder and chairman of Miller Investment Management, a private investment firm. He is also the founder and chairman of the Miller Family Foundation, a philanthropic organization that supports education, health, and the arts. Miller was born in New York City on March 4, 1927. He attended the University of Pennsylvania, where he earned a Bachelor of Science degree in economics in 1948. After college, he worked as an investment banker at Lehman Brothers and then at Goldman Sachs. In 1965, Miller founded Miller Investment Management, which has since become one of the largest independent investment management firms in the United States. He is also the founder and chairman of the Miller Family Foundation, which has donated millions of dollars to various causes, including education, health, and the arts. Miller is married to his wife, Barbara, and they have three children. He is 96 years old.
