Robin Selvig is a retired American college basketball coach. He was born on August 21, 1952 in Outlook, Montana. He attended Montana State University, where he played basketball and graduated in 1974. Selvig began his coaching career at Montana State in 1975, and he was the head coach of the Lady Bobcats for 38 years. During his tenure, he led the team to eight NCAA tournament appearances, including a Sweet Sixteen appearance in 1992. He was named Big Sky Conference Coach of the Year four times and was inducted into the Montana State Hall of Fame in 2004. Selvig retired from coaching in 2013 with a career record of 665-304. He is currently the head coach of the Montana State women's golf team. Selvig is married to his wife, Mary, and they have two children. He is 68 years old.
