Saleem Rasheed is an American former professional football player who played linebacker in the National Football League (NFL). He was drafted by the San Francisco 49ers in the third round of the 2003 NFL Draft. He played college football at Alabama. Rasheed played for the 49ers from 2003 to 2006, and then for the Seattle Seahawks from 2007 to 2008. He was a member of the Seahawks team that won Super Bowl XL. He retired from the NFL in 2009. Rasheed is currently the head football coach at his alma mater, Alabama A&M University. He was hired in December 2018. As of 2021, Saleem Rasheed's net worth is estimated to be around $2 million. 2012

In February 2012, Rasheed was charged with food stamp fraud and falsifying documents in Birmingham, Alabama. He pleaded guilty to receiving $5,551 dollars in food stamps while falsely claiming to be unemployed and, in July 2012, he was sentenced to eight months in prison. Rasheed also pleaded guilty to immigration fraud arising from his allegedly marrying a Moroccan woman and subsequently marrying an American woman without divorcing his first wife.

2008
