The song "Die A Happy Man" (performed by Thomas Rhett), which Douglas co-wrote, was nominated for a Grammy Award for Best Country Song and has gone on to win the ACM for Single Record of the Year, Billboard Music Award for Top Country Song, CMA Award for Single of the Year and BMI Song of the Year.
