Solofa Fatu Jr. is a professional wrestler, actor, producer, and director. He is best known for his time in the World Wrestling Federation (WWF) and World Championship Wrestling (WCW) under the ring name Rikishi. He is also known for his appearances in the independent circuit and Total Nonstop Action Wrestling (TNA). Fatu was born on October 11, 1965 in San Francisco, California. He is the son of professional wrestler Solofa Fatu Sr., better known as "The Wild Samoan". He is of Samoan descent. Fatu began his professional wrestling career in 1984, working for his father's promotion, the Wild Samoan Pro Wrestling Federation. He then moved on to the World Wrestling Federation (WWF) in 1992, where he was known as "Rikishi". He was a member of the popular tag team Too Cool, alongside Scotty 2 Hotty and Grandmaster Sexay. He also held the WWF Intercontinental Championship and the WWF Tag Team Championship. In 2001, Fatu left the WWF and joined World Championship Wrestling (WCW). He was known as "The Sultan" and was a member of the stable The Magnificent Seven. He left WCW in 2002 and returned to the independent circuit. In 2006, Fatu joined Total Nonstop Action Wrestling (TNA) and was known as "The Warlord". He left TNA in 2007 and returned to the independent circuit. Fatu has also appeared in several films and television shows, including Ready to Rumble, The Scorpion King, and The Rundown. Fatu is currently semi-retired from professional wrestling and is focusing on his acting and producing career. He is the founder of the production company, Fatu Films.
