Stella Kyriakidou is a Cypriot politician who served as the Minister of Labour and Social Insurance from 2013 to 2018. She was born on 10 March 1956 in Nicosia, Cyprus. She is the daughter of former Cypriot President Spyros Kyprianou. Kyriakidou studied law at the University of Athens and obtained her degree in 1979. She then went on to pursue a Master's degree in International Law at the University of London. Kyriakidou began her political career in the late 1980s, when she was elected to the House of Representatives in 1988. She served as a Member of Parliament for the Democratic Rally party until 2013. In 2013, Kyriakidou was appointed as the Minister of Labour and Social Insurance, a position she held until 2018. During her tenure, she was responsible for the implementation of a number of reforms in the labour market, including the introduction of a minimum wage and the establishment of a national pension system. Kyriakidou is currently a Member of the European Parliament, representing the Democratic Rally party. She is also a member of the Committee on Employment and Social Affairs and the Delegation to the EU-Turkey Joint Parliamentary Committee. After the resignation of the Spanish Pedro Agramunt, she ran for the presidency of the PACE, winning the voting in the third round against the Lithuanian Emanuelis Zingeris. From 2018 until 2019, she served as PACE representative to the Venice Commission.

In 1999 Kyriakides was appointed president of the First Breast Cancer Movement in Cyprus. From 2004 until 2006, she served as president of the European Breast Cancer Coalition Europa Donna. In 2016, she was appointed President of the National Committee on Cancer Strategy of the Council.
