He is a graduate of the University of Ibadan, where he obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in History and International Studies. Supo Ayokunle is the founder and senior pastor of the Redeemed Evangelical Mission (TREM), a church with branches in Nigeria and the United Kingdom. He is also the founder of the Redeemed Christian Bible College, a theological institution in Lagos, Nigeria. Supo Ayokunle is a strong advocate for religious freedom and has been a vocal critic of the Nigerian government's policies on religious matters. He has also been a vocal critic of the Boko Haram insurgency in Nigeria. Supo Ayokunle is married to Mrs. Olufunmilayo Ayokunle and they have four children.
