Tarneé Kendell Hudson was born in Richmond, Virginia and started performing professionally at age 9 after her successful night at the Apollo Theatre in Harlem. Early theatrical acting credits include: The Story of the Bible (The Queen of Sheba), King Arthur (Lady Guinevere), Romeo and Juliet (Juliet), and Sugar (Olga). At Randolph-Macon College, she was a part of the improv comedy troop called Instant Theatre: Just Add Water. During this time, she was selected to play Joyce, a part written for her in the play by Dean Browell called One for all or Nothing, working alongside Blaise Miller. She was cast as an extra in the Emmy-Award winning HBO mini-series John Adams, where she shares a scene with Paul Giamatti. At the World Championships of Performing Arts in Hollywood, California, she medaled in every category entered including golds in comedic acting and spokesmodeling. Recent theatrical acting credits include: The Boy from Oz (Trio/Ensemble-Richmond Triangle Players), Macbeth (Witch-The Quill Theatre Fundraiser), We Three Lizas (Liza Always, Grace Jones, Downtown Julie Brown-Richmond Triangle Players), The Drowsy Chaperone (Trixi the Aviatrix-Swift Creek Mill), Bare: A Pop Opera (Tanya Garrett-Richmond Triangle Players), Night Blooms (Geneva Willis-Virginia Repertory Theatre), To Whom it May Concern (Caroline-St. Mary's Acts of Faith Festival), and This Beautiful City (Converted Woman, Ben Reynolds, others-Richmond Triangle Players).
