After the 2008 season of the ANZ Championship, Amaru-Tibble received a callup from Central Pulse head coach Kate Carpenter to play for the Wellington-based franchise, who had failed to secure a win that year. Carpenter was eventually dismissed as coach of the team, but Amaru-Tibble was retained for the 2009 season under new head coach McCausland-Durie, where she has played as a goal shooter partnering Paula Griffin. In 2009 Amaru-Tibble also played with PIC in the Wellington Regional Super League, in the leadup to the National Provincial Championships.

Te Amo Amaru-Tibble (born 11 May 1989 in Wellington, New Zealand) is a New Zealand netball and basketball player. She attended high school at Newlands College in Wellington before transferring to Tū Toa, a Māori sports academy in Palmerston North. During her early high school years she focused on basketball, playing with the New Zealand U16, U18, U19 and junior Tall Ferns teams. Amaru-Tibble eventually played netball at Tū Toa, coached by Yvette McCausland-Durie. In 2008, she qualified for the New Zealand U21 team to travel to Australia. She also made the preliminary squad for the following year, but she did not make the final team to compete at the 2009 World Youth Netball Championships in the Cook Islands.
