Received a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame for Recording at 6262 Hollywood Boulevard in Hollywood, California on December 5, 2013. She dedicated her star to her mother who has recently passed away.

Her album "Habítame Siempre" (2012) is considered to be the best album of her career including duets with: Robbie Williams, Michael Bublé, Prince Royce and more.

In 2011, Terra Networks included her in its list of "powerful and iconic women in Latin music". She is also a successful fashion brand owner (having signed an exclusive deal with Macy's), has her own nationally syndicated radio show and is the author of four books, including her memoir.

Her album "Primera Fila" (2009) has sold more than 700,000 copies in Mexico.
