Tiago Leifert is a Brazilian journalist and television presenter. He is best known for hosting the Brazilian version of Big Brother, A Fazenda, and the Globo Esporte program. He has also hosted the Brazilian version of The Voice, The Voice Brasil, and the Brazilian version of Dancing with the Stars, Dança dos Famosos. Leifert was born on 22 May, 1980 in São Paulo, State of São Paulo, Brazil. He graduated from the University of São Paulo with a degree in journalism. Leifert began his career in television in 2002, when he was hired by Rede Globo to host the children's program, Xou da Xuxa. He then went on to host the Brazilian version of Big Brother, A Fazenda, from 2009 to 2013. He also hosted the Globo Esporte program from 2011 to 2013. In 2013, Leifert began hosting the Brazilian version of The Voice, The Voice Brasil. He has also hosted the Brazilian version of Dancing with the Stars, Dança dos Famosos, since 2014. Leifert began his career as a reporter for the traditional "Desafio ao Galo", a program dedicated to amateur soccer. He majored in Journalism and Psychology from the University of Miami and was a trainee in Journalism from American network NBC. Leifert started working at Rede Globo presenting the Pro Rad in 2006 and videogame related stories for Esporte Espetacular. He covered the Brazilian football season in 2008, the 2007 Pan American Games in Rio de Janeiro and the 2008 Summer Olympics in Beijing.
