During his time on the team, he won four national championships and numerous medals in international competitions. Barnes retired from bobsledding in 1995 and has since become a successful businessman. He is the founder and CEO of Barnes Capital Group, a financial services firm based in California. He is also the founder and CEO of Barnes Motorsports, a motorsports company that specializes in custom-built race cars. Barnes is married to his wife, Lisa, and they have two children.
