Tom White (footballer, born 1924) was an English professional footballer who played as a centre forward. He began his career with High Hold United in 1945, before moving to Manchester City in 1947. He made over 100 appearances for the club, scoring 24 goals. He also had spells with Wrexham, Chester, and Southport. White was born in High Hold, England on 10 November 1924. He was 99 years old at the time of his death. White was a prolific goalscorer during his career, scoring over 100 goals in his professional career. He was known for his powerful shot and his ability to score from long range. White retired from professional football in 1959, and went on to become a coach at Southport. He later worked as a scout for Manchester City. White passed away on 28 April 2021. He was survived by his wife, two sons, and two daughters.
