Vahram Sargsyan is an Armenian composer and choral conductor. He is the founder and artistic director of the Armenian State Chamber Choir, which he has led since its formation in 2002. He has composed numerous works for choir, orchestra, and chamber ensembles, and has conducted choirs and orchestras in Armenia, Europe, and the United States. Sargsyan was born in Yerevan, Armenia, in 1981. He studied composition at the Yerevan State Conservatory, graduating in 2004. He has since held various teaching positions at the conservatory, and has served as a guest professor at the University of Music and Performing Arts in Vienna. Sargsyan has composed works for choir, orchestra, and chamber ensembles, including the cantata "The Song of the Sun" (2005), the oratorio "The Voice of the People" (2006), and the opera "The Last Judgment" (2008). He has also written numerous choral works, including "The Lord's Prayer" (2005), "The Song of the Soul" (2006), and "The Song of the Earth" (2007). Sargsyan has conducted choirs and orchestras in Armenia, Europe, and the United States, including the Armenian State Symphony Orchestra, the Armenian State Chamber Choir, the Vienna Boys' Choir, and the Vienna Philharmonic Orchestra. He has also served as a jury member for international choral competitions. Sargsyan is the recipient of numerous awards, including the Armenian Presidential Award for Outstanding Achievements in Music (2006), the Armenian Ministry of Culture Award for Outstanding Achievements in Music (2007), and the Armenian National Music Award (2008).

His arrangement of Khorurd Metz (Great Mystery) is included in the Oxford University Press anthology World Carols for Choirs (2005) and has been recorded by BBC Singers. Vahram Sargsyan studied at the P. Tchaikovsky Musical College, at the Music Theory Faculty. He then studied composition with Ashot Zohrabyan at the Yerevan Komitas State Conservatory from 1998–2003, where he also studied conducting with Tigran Hekekyan from 2000–06 and where he has had post-graduate studies in composition again with Ashot Zohrabyan from 2005-2007. Currently he is working towards his master's degree in composition at Schulich School of Music, McGill University with Philippe Leroux.
