Valdemar Bentzen was a Swedish actor who was active in the theater and film industry from the late 19th century until his death in 1945. He was born in Stockholm, Sweden, on 8 July 1865. Bentzen began his career in the theater in 1887, and he quickly became a popular actor. He was known for his comedic roles, and he was a regular performer at the Royal Dramatic Theatre in Stockholm. He also appeared in several films, including the silent films The Phantom Carriage (1920) and The Phantom Chariot (1921). Bentzen was married twice, first to actress Anna-Lisa Bergman and then to actress Anna-Lisa Lundberg. He had two children, a son and a daughter. Valdemar Bentzen died on 28 April 1945 in Stockholm, Sweden. He was 79 years old.
