He is best known for his roles in the films "The Battle of Sutjeska" (1973) and "The Battle of Neretva" (1969). Vukov began his career as a singer in the 1950s, performing in various clubs and festivals. He released his first album in 1961, and went on to release several more throughout the 1960s and 1970s. In the late 1960s, Vukov began appearing in films, beginning with the 1969 film "The Battle of Neretva". He went on to appear in several other films, including "The Battle of Sutjeska" (1973), "The Battle of Kosovo" (1974), and "The Battle of Vukovar" (1991). Vukov has also appeared in several television series, including "The Adventures of Pinocchio" (1972), "The Adventures of Tom Sawyer" (1973), and "The Adventures of Huckleberry Finn" (1974). Vukov has been married twice, first to actress Ljiljana Blagojevic, and then to actress Mira Furlan. He has two children, a son and a daughter.
