Victorio Ruiz García is a Spanish cyclist who was born on April 30, 1926 in Canillejas, Spain. He is best known for his career as a professional cyclist, which spanned from 1947 to 1965. During his career, he won numerous races, including the Vuelta a España in 1954 and the Tour of the Basque Country in 1956. Ruiz García began his cycling career in 1947, when he joined the Spanish cycling team, Bicicletas Orbea. He quickly rose to prominence, winning the Vuelta a España in 1954 and the Tour of the Basque Country in 1956. He also competed in the Tour de France, where he finished in the top 10 on three occasions. In 1965, Ruiz García retired from professional cycling and began working as a cycling coach. He coached the Spanish national team from 1965 to 1975, and was also the coach of the Spanish team at the 1972 Summer Olympics in Munich. Ruiz García is now 97 years old and is still active in the cycling community. He is a member of the Spanish Cycling Federation and is a regular attendee at cycling events. He is also a member of the Spanish Cycling Hall of Fame.
