Vojislav Seselj is a Serbian politician and former leader of the Serbian Radical Party. He is currently serving a 20-year sentence for war crimes and crimes against humanity at the International Criminal Tribunal for the former Yugoslavia. Seselj was born in Sarajevo, Yugoslavia, and studied law at the University of Belgrade. He was a member of the Serbian Academy of Sciences and Arts and a professor at the University of Belgrade. Seselj was a prominent figure in the Yugoslav Wars of the 1990s, and was accused of war crimes and crimes against humanity by the International Criminal Tribunal for the former Yugoslavia. He was arrested in 2003 and indicted in 2006. He was found guilty in 2018 and sentenced to 20 years in prison. Seselj is married and has two children. He is 67 years old.
