Vyacheslav Hroznyi is a Ukrainian politician and former Prime Minister of Ukraine. He was born in Kam'yanets'-Podil's'kyi, Ukraine, and graduated from the Kyiv Polytechnic Institute in 1979. He then worked as a research engineer at the Institute of Cybernetics of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine. In 1990, Hroznyi was elected to the Verkhovna Rada (Parliament) of Ukraine, and in 1994 he was appointed Prime Minister of Ukraine. He served in this position until 1997. During his tenure, he was responsible for the implementation of economic reforms, including the introduction of the national currency, the hryvnia. Hroznyi has since served in various positions in the Ukrainian government, including as Minister of Economy and Deputy Prime Minister. He is currently a member of the Verkhovna Rada and the leader of the People's Party of Ukraine. As of 2021, Vyacheslav Hroznyi's net worth is estimated to be around $1 million.
