Wade Dooley is a former English rugby union player who played for England and the British Lions. He was born in Warrington, England, and attended Warrington Grammar School. He began his rugby career at the age of 16, playing for Warrington Rugby Club. He went on to play for the England Under-21s and the England B team before making his full England debut in 1984. Dooley was a powerful forward, renowned for his strength and tackling ability. He was part of the England team that won the Grand Slam in 1991 and was also part of the British Lions tour to New Zealand in 1993. He retired from international rugby in 1995, having won a total of 43 caps for England. After retiring from rugby, Dooley became a coach and was appointed head coach of the England Under-21s in 1997. He was also the head coach of the England Sevens team from 1998 to 2000. He is currently the head coach of the England Women's Sevens team. Dooley is married to his wife, Jo, and they have two children. He is estimated to have a net worth of around $2 million.
