He has also appeared in films such as The Pianist (2002), The Chronicles of Narnia: The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe (2005), and The Ghost Writer (2010). Geiger has won numerous awards for his work, including the Silver Bear for Best Actor at the Berlin International Film Festival for his performance in The Promised Land (1975). He has also been nominated for the Palme d'Or at the Cannes Film Festival for his performance in The Decalogue (1989). Geiger is currently married to his wife, Maria, and they have two children together. He currently resides in Warsaw, Poland.
