Andrew Carlson

During the summer of 2010, Andrew worked on his first supporting role film called "A Girl Named Rachel" starring Callan Korpi. His friend/co-worker Clinton Jordan wrote/directed the film. Due to lighting/camera difficulties, the film won't be released with the original cast.

Also in the summer of 2010, Andrew helped write a short comedy called "The Right Thing" with Jim Clements. It was filmed in Minnesota as well as Omaha with a cast from all over the country. Andrew worked on independent films in front of the camera as well as behind the camera to build up his resume. He was the assistant director to a short film written/directed by Yong Hak Kim and that peaked Andrew's interest. A month later Andrew was asked to be the Assistant Director and Co-Producer for a television pilot called "The U-Brew" (among other credits on that project).

Andrew Carlson's interest in film started at an early age but he did not get a chance to start a career in the film industry until after graduating Maple Lake High School in 2009. Upon graduating, Andrew Left Minnesota to live with his father in Florida. After moving to Florida, he started taking classes from the Actors Info Booth where he met Director Tom Logan. After taking a few classes on auditioning and scene studies - Andrew decided that film acting is his dream career. He has been acting at a very early age in theater productions. After a couple months down in Florida, Andrew had to move back up to Minnesota where he had his first taste of being on set. "Hunting Buddies" was Andrew's first film he worked on as an extra. He started making YouTube videos with his good friend Jim Clements to learn more about film making and video editing. Later in the year, Andrew had a small, non-speaking role on the film "Potpourri" and "In Harm's Way".
